Perfect gifts for inside and out.
I take bookings for commissions, so feel free to book a visit during normal business hours or email/WhatsApp, pictures so we can develop a plan. The last date for booking a commission for Christmas 2025 is October 1st as the process takes time and I can only fire a full kiln so have to plan around the commission and potential hazards.

As my working hours involve clay please don't expect the phone to be answered or messages to be replied to straight away.
I don't have a big studio or gallery so don't expect to visit.
Born and bred in East Yorkshire I moved away and returned to East Yorkshire and am married to an East Yorkshire farmer with whom I have 2 grown up children.
Before there was pottery there was plastacine I just loved it but hated that I had to destroy a lot of it to reuse it.
I fell in love with the pottery process in Mr Turners class at Hornsea Primary School.
the romance was brief but I remember the kiln and the dreams.
I made my first proper pots in 1982 at Scarborough Art College.
I've never looked back!
I love ceramics but hate the selling so I've been hiding away for years.
I have a city & guilds level 2 in ceramics (2002) & have previously exhibited & sold work at the Ferens Open Exhibition Hull.
I have artwork on the Hornsea Pottery Town Trail and have had many other commissions
Without this lucky break I couldn't have afforded more clay and to pay for stalls during 2024, it's been lifechanging.
Before 24 I was relearning throwing on a kick wheel. Now I've my restored electric wheel up and running (or spinning) which means I'm more productive and the pots are thinner!
Thanks team for all the encouragement, support and wine both on freezing clay nights and when I'm totally stressed, love ya loads xx
